Car camping in a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance
2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance
Car camping trip to Jordan Lake in NC. I show you my sleeping set up (mattresses used, etc.), some items that I take on my car camping trips (cooking, charging, tent, chairs, etc.), privacy screen from Tesmat and much more! My hope is that I can share things with you to help you with your travel in your Tesla. Camping is a GREAT way to utilize the benefits of the Tesla (camp mode).
Just to follow up on the video… the exercise mat improved the quality of sleep. However, there still needs to be some height added in the middle due to the dip in the car because of the lift from the back seats not laying flap. I think putting the Tesmat case under the exercise map near where the backseats fold will help slightly. Someone should invent a mattress for the Tesla Model 3 with this in mind (unless it’s already out there - if so, please post in the comments).
Also, for other mattresses that I have used… I have also used the self-inflating mattresses that have memory foam inside and you can also add air to them. Unfortunately, they are usually so thin you are required to put air into them and you basically have an air mattress which do not lay that well, and they are difficult to pack back up.
